The Bayport-Blue Point Teachers' Association is proud to represent the teachers, guidance counselors, nurses and school psychologists of the Bayport-Blue Point Union Free School District.  Our exceptional results on the school report card, Advanced Placement Exams, Scientific, Mathematic, Music and Art competitions are evidence of excellent teaching taking place. 

The Bayport-Blue Point Teachers' Association has also enjoyed a long tradition of service to our community.  We once again are the recipients of the Community Service Award from the New York State United Teachers.  This year we were acknowledged for a number of projects.  These included our nine scholarships, which are awarded annually to high school seniors in memory of our former colleagues.  We also received recognition for our food drive for the Greater Sayville Food Pantry, our continued support of the Mercy Center and our funding of a truckload of supplies that were delivered to hurricane-ravaged Gulfport Mississippi.  In addition, we continue our support to Little League, the Booster Club, the PTA's, the High School Yearbook, the High School Musical, Community Clean-up Day, and several activities with Senior Citizens.  We are also members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club.

It is a pleasure to work in such a wonderful atmosphere of mutual respect and cooperation.
